Loreen who last year won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Euphoria has long been committed against injustice and for human rights. On its own initiative, she has teamed up with the Swedish Committee for Afghanistan, where she is particularly interested in children's education
Loreen into kabul AirportEducation is not self-evident in Afghanistan and the literacy rate is among the lowest in the world.
In schools Afghanistankommittén drives are currently over 125,000 students. Over half of the students are girls. Despite progress, much remains to be done. Almost half of all school-age children do not attend school. Moreover, the quality of education increase.
- It is very important to encourage children to go to school in Afghanistan, which is one of the most affected countries. Knowledge is the key to all development so that people can lift themselves out of poverty and create a better life, says Loreen.

New tour date announced! Loreen is going to perform on 30th of November in Bratislava, Slovakia at Ateliér Babylon. More about this event you can read here.
